DJ of the Week: Avicii

This week's selected DJ of the week is none other than one of the world's greatest and fastest growing DJ's, Avicii.

Tim Bergling who is better known by his stage name Avicii is a Swedish DJ/ Producer that has definitely made his mark in the Electronic Dance Music industry with his mindblowing creativity when it comes to music.

He's known for being one of the world's youngest DJ's to make it this far in the EDM industry. At just the age of 24 Avicii has gained way more success than most people years older than him. He has this far released 3 albums, his third album being "True" that was released on September 13. This far he has made it big in the industry, watch out for Avicii as he grows to be one of the best.

Out Now: Project 46 ft. Seri - 'Motionless' (Original Mix)

With a Hype Machine-trending collaboration with Kaskade, a supporting slot on Morgan Page's North American tour and a new original called 'Motionless' released more than a week ago, it's safe to say that Project 46 are having their best year ever. And for a duo that's only been on the scene since 2012 and have already broken into the DJ Mag Top 100, it's a year that would exceed the expectations of even the most established artist.

EDM Community Presents Freedom

This is what I believe the EDM community express, total freedom. It does not matter what race, social status or sexual preference you might have. Everyone is free to be themselves in the EDM scene.

The EDM community has grown to be more than just a typical so-called "scene", we are a family. A family that promotes freedom of expression. You are free to be you and only you. This community presents acceptance unto everyone and that's where the PLUR elements come into action.
I without a doubt feel free to be me when I'm with my EDM-family because we bare no hatred or unfair judgement towards one another. We believe in the 4 elements of our universal mantra PLUR and that's how we live our lives.

EDM Is My Cure

Something that all EDM-fanatics have in common is the fact that Electronic Dance Music has proven to be more than just a music genre to us but it is our cure for everything. There's nothing like EDM that can make you go from sad-&-depressing to happy-&-joyful, this is something that can only be done by EDM.
