Drug Overdose ends Coachella attendee's life

Coachella being one of the biggest EDM events in the world had an unfortunate incident last weekend when an attendee passed away due to apparent drug overdose. According to NBC LA, the attendee was hospitalized after attending the festival. She was then broughy to the medical tent Sunday morning and transferred to varies medical centers, she eventually died five days later on Thursday at the Desert Regional Medical center.The following statement was released by the festival promoter Goldenvoice:
"Last weekend, a festival attendee
suffered an apparent drug overdose.
The individual was seen by on-site
medical staff and later transferred to
JFK Memorial Hospital and later to
Desert Regional Medical Center. We are
saddened to learn the individual has
died. We believe this to be an
unfortunate but isolated incident."

Since 1999 this is only the second death case to occure at an Coachella event.
