DJ of The Week: Krewella

The Electronic Dance Music trio, Krewella that consists of vocalist sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf and producer "Rain Man" is this week's DJ of The Week. They are known for their unique hard-electro beats that can keep anyone dancing for days. They first came into the scene in 2011 and they released their first EP "Play Hard" in June 2012, the EP received a lot of positive feed back from the EDM community. Ever since then the group has grown and gained million of fans worldwide. After the release of their EP all the songs they released thereafter received a lot of positive feedback from the public.Krewella has headlined at festivals around the globe including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Stereosonic and Spring Awakening. Krewella has the kind of fire that can keep any crowd happy and wanting more. They have this explosive burst of energy when performing live and this is what earned them the 2012 International Dance Music Award for "Best Breakthrough Artist".
The group is in the studio now and plans to release their first full-length album "Get Wet" on Columbia Records in September 2013. This group is still growing and making us wet one song at a time, let's see what the future holds for them.
