Paris Hilton Announce's Her Residency At Amnesia In Ibiza

The controversial Paris Hilton has adopted a new career as a dj/producer of EDM. The EDM community are up in arms as soon as they heard the news of Hilton producing an Electro Dance album. Now comes the news of Hilton and her residency at superclub Amnesia for the Foam and Diamonds party, in the dance capital of the world - Ibiza. This has angered many EDMers even more, as she is not accepted as an EDM artist.I understand their feelings towards this and I feel the same way. Like an alien invading our beloved planet. It just goes to show that these days, anybody and I mean anybody can become a DJ. The event is said to integrate fashion and music. Yeah not surprising about that.

The question is does Paris have any ounce or speck of talent in her bones? She has done so many things, the list is too long to mention, and still hasn't found her footing in anything. How long will this "phase" last before she turns around and does something else? For many EDM lovers, it is an art and a passion that's meant to be taken seriously. EDM has a special essence to it that not everyone understands. Its unlike any other genre and is so diverse, yet somehow manages to bring people together. For true dj/producers it takes lots of hardwork, perseverance and dedication. To be a good dj/producer, it takes years to learn the skills and to refine ones personal style of music. Many Dj/producers have had to work hard to climb the ranks to get to where they want to be. I feel that it is absurd to have such a person like Hilton, due to her fame be allowed to suddenly crop up and play at such places as Ibiza. Its every djs dream to play there and they have got to earn their place in order to achieve a worthy, respected status in the industry to fulfil these aspirations. For all we know Paris is probably a "Button-pusher". Has she really learned the art of Djing? You can't blame me for being doubtful and heavily judging her. But well its happening. Makes you think about the state of EDM what it has turned into. Ridiculous!

I'm just airing my opinions on how I feel about this. Hell No! I aint hating on Paris. I'm simply stating what I see. Agree or not I don't really care. I just feel I need to say this. I am going to try my best to keep an open mind for her forthcoming album. If its good, I'll admit it. That's all....
